This shirt was designed by our friend Ian Babineau.
Its design is the result of a spontaneous and collaborative practice with Brian Huddleston. For the last five years Ian and Brian have collected images of local Minneapolis pedestrian graphics during their daily routines. These graphics often have a raw, unbranded, and distinctly human quality, arising from a combination of computer typography and the beautiful imperfections of an untrained hand. A ubiquitous and strangely classic towing sign served as a canvas for exploring some shared influences, including Gordon Hempton, Don Buchla, and vintage instrument typeface.
